Kin by John Lewis
Some iPhone snaps of the Kin by John Lewis pop up concession at the Oxford Street store. Some very nice clothes too.

Capitol Music Group
As part of a major restructuring programme, EMI America was recently renamed the Capitol Music Group. We are currently overseeing the rebrand, the first stage of which is a new logo, shown here, based on the iconic Hollywood building where the record company is based, and a reworking of the classic Capitol script.

Kin by John Lewis
A first glimpse of a new fashion label, Kin by John Lewis, for which we have designed the identity. It launches in store this week.
Much more on this soon.
Galvin and Galvin
A range of hair products designed to appeal directly to mums and kids. Probably a more commercial proposition than we would normally produce but it hits all its markers. The more sophisticated adult range is currently in production and we will show that as soon as we have samples shot.

Pet Shop Boys
Elysium, their eleventh studio album was released on Monday. Shown here is the special edition CD box, the standard CD and the vinyl version.

Shoreditch Design Triangle
For the second year we have created the branding for this event which groups together thirty two local galleries, shops, restaurants and studios hosting special events during London Design week 2012.

SCP 3
We have once again designed and art directed the third edition of SCP’s Berliner newspaper. It will be in store any day now.
Spiritualized
The first two of three proposed seven inch singles taken from the Huh? album. The design remains exactly the same on all of them with just the title and choice of fluorescent colour changing.

Pet Shop Boys, Winner
Designs for the current single. The white version is the physical CD format and the yellow version, originally designed to be a twelve inch single, eventually became the digital format.

JJZ Hyrda 2012
Our second Hydra Workshop artists book on the occasion of an exhibition by Jacob Julian Ziolkowsli.
Commissioned by Sadie Coles it is the first to be published under her new SCHQ imprint.

Camper Stamp
We were thrilled to find out that our Camper boat design made an appearance on a Spanish stamp.
The Volvo Ocean Race finished in Galway recently with Camper winning the final leg to finish in an impressive second place in the overall race. A great end to a fantastic project that we were very proud to be a part of.
Eric Watson 1955–2012
It is with deep sadness that I have learned of the passing of this great photographer. He was responsible for creating many of the great images that appeared on the Pet Shop Boys sleeves in the 80’s and 90’s.
It was Eric’s beautiful images that allowed me to produce some really special work, not least our first D&AD pencil for Suburbia, an image I felt was so good that I refused to put type over it. More about Eric Watson’s work and life here and here.

Manic Street Preachers
A first look at the cover of ‘Death of a Polaroid – A Manics Family Album‘ a new book we’ve designed for Faber and Faber. It contains over 500 Polaroids taken by band member Nicky Wire and long time collaborator, photographer, Mitch Ikeda.

SCP

Camper
On Sunday, the 70ft ‘Camper’ yacht was trucked to the team's base at Viaduct Harbour, Auckland where it will be commissioned this week. The build started in August 2010, taking close to 35,000 man-hours. Over the next few days, keel, rudder, dagger boards, mast and rigging will be fitted and electrical and hydraulic systems commissioned.
‘Camper’ will be sailing by the end of the week before setting off for sea trials in April and May. Then, in October 2011, the yacht will begin the Volvo Ocean Race, a 38,000 nautical mile race around the world.
Sunday was almost a year to the day that Camper, the Spanish footwear brand, and Emirates Team New Zealand confirmed their entry in the Volvo Ocean Race 2011/12. The yacht was designed by the Emirates Team New Zealand design team led by Nick Holroyd with principal designer Marcelino Botin, with livery designed by Farrow.
Emirates Team New Zealand managing director Grant Dalton said of the launch, "This is a great day for us as a team. To be able to stand back and see the amazing job that they guys have done and now see her in her full livery, is quite humbling. I am very excited about going out sailing towards the end of this week."
For Camper, this is their first foray into ocean racing, and the company's Founder and Chairman, Lorenzo Fluxá, said: "This is quite an historic moment for everyone at Camper and the start of a new adventure for our brand. The boat build has been a gr
For Camper, this is their first foray into ocean racing, and the company's Founder and Chairman, Lorenzo Fluxá, said: "This is quite an historic moment for everyone at Camper and the start of a new adventure for our brand. The boat build has been a great experience for all of us, so precise in its execution that all we can do is congratulate all those involved in bringing the ‘Camper’ to life."

A quick peek at Food From Kew, a new identity we have created to work across cafes, restaurants and retail outlets within the gardens. The identity, which works within existing guidelines, deliberately concentrates on the buildings within the grounds as opposed to the plants and trees normally associated with Kew.
Chan
Photographs showing graphic patterns we designed for interior architects Andy Martin Studio. The patterns, part of an overall identity programme shown on the main website, are drilled in to back-lit aluminium panels.

Spiritualized
Ladies and Gentleman we are floating in space the black edition. In production now, released November 16th. We’ll show you the real things once we have them, in the meantime here are our explanatory drawings.
Carroll Dunham
Artist's book commissioned by Sadie Coles to commemorate his 2008 show for Pauline Karpidas at the Hydra Workshop in Greece. The artist always signs his paintings with his initials and the year of the work, so we asked him to do the same for the cover. This was then printed on to a soft back, cloth cover using various techniques to achieve a finish that looks like thick wet paint.
SCP/KIOSK
Invitation for a temporary shop at SCP East. KIOSK is a very cool NY store which finds and sells humble straightforward pieces from all over the world, really worth a look, 19–27 September.
Pet Shop Boys

We have replaced our NEW PDF’s with an area which allows us to show new work faster as well as going in to more depth if we choose to. We hope to update this area on a regular basis, not just with new work but also with older pieces and photographs which we think are relevant. You can also subscribe via the RSS feed should you wish to be updated automatically.
